Meagan Hassan, Partner
Meagan Hassan joined Connor & Demond, PLLC as an associate in November 2008 after being hired away from the Washington, DC legal market. Meagan is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York, and Maryland, and contributes extensive Middle East experience to the firm.
Specifically, Meagan worked as a researcher for the Department of Defense for the Iraq, Iran, and Gulf regions while attending Georgetown’s Master’s of Arts in Arab Studies (MAAS) program. Prior to that, she worked for the Coalition for an International Criminal Court (CICC) as a Middle East liaison. Meagan is proficient in Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian colloquial dialect.
While pursuing her JD at Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law, Meagan completed legal coursework at the American University in Cairo and at the law campus of Temple University in Tokyo. She brings a wide range of experience to Connor & Demond, including international tax law, international trade law, antitrust law, administrative law, and bankruptcy law.
Meagan enjoys cooking, international travel, and horseback riding.
